Lancaster Medical School is a growing department within one of the top ten UK universities with exceptional student satisfaction scores. The opportunity has arisen to join a committed team at this exciting stage in the development of Lancaster Medical School.

Lancaster Medical School is seeking an experienced administrator to join an existing administrative team. You will provide high-level administrative support for the Primary Care element of the medical programme (MBChB), coordinating a wide range of programme activities. 

Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using Microsoft Office packages at an advanced level are essential, as is strong communication and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including but not exclusively medical students, academic and professional staff, GPs and voluntary sector.  You should be able to work flexibly as part of a rapidly expanding department and possess a calm, friendly and flexible approach whilst working in a pressurised and quick pace environment.  Ideally, you will have previous relevant administrative experience in a higher education, Primary Care or NHS background.

A proven team player and confident communicator, you will be committed to integrating into a busy office environment, working closely with students and a wide range of colleagues.
