This is an exciting time to join the Faulty of Health and Life Sciences, which is currently home to over 8000 students. The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is the largest school in the Faculty and University; delivering a broad range of health programmes  and a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels. We are proud partners in the Coventry and Warwickshire Year of Wellbeing and Coventry 2021 City of Culture

In September 2020 we have two new courses starting ;  BSc Public Health and BSc Public Health Practitioner Apprenticeship, which will join our expanding public health offer. Due to the growth of our portfolio, the School of Health is seeking to recruit an additional  post within the Public Health  team. This person will join the teaching  team delivering  across our highly regarded suite of undergraduate and post graduate courses.  

All academic role holders  will be expected to undertake a combination of teaching and/or scholarship and or enterprise activity, along with various management and administrative tasks as part of their role and to contribute and engage with the University's wider agenda where appropriate Tasks will be in line with the indicators outlined in the Person Specification.

The post is available at Lecturer or Assistant Professor level, depending on experience within public health education and research.  Applicants with teaching experience within epidemiology and public health statistical analysis are particularly welcome. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual

All candidates  must have a relevant Master's degree in an appropriate subject. The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for Lecturers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
