The Collections Services section manages the acquisition, description, processing and maintenance of the Library’s main and student collections. The Access and Acquisitions Team is part of Collections Services and is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance of access and description of the Library’s print and electronic collections.
Based in the Access and Acquisitions Team your primary role is to support the team’s activities associated with acquisitions and reading lists: checking reading lists, ordering books, and scanning materials from library collections. At times of peak demand, work to support the wider team's diverse activities can also include checking subscriptions, maintenance of collections, stock editing and storage of the Library’s print collections.
