Researcher is needed to work on a systematic review of Antidepressants prescribed to people with chronic pain.

The Department of Psychology is looking to appoint a part time researcher to join a team of experts to carry out a systematic review of antidepressants prescribed to people living with chronic pain. The post (PDRA, 18th months, at 0.6) is for a person with experience and confidence, who will manage the day to day study, be responsible for all aspects of data extraction, liaise with the research team, and line-manage the research assistant.

The research team includes experts from several disciplines, including psychiatry, clinical pharmacy, statistics, psychology, and pain medicine. The study is led by Professor Tamar Pincus at Royal Holloway, and further details can be obtained from her directly, on
