Job Description
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking to hire a full-time Research Assistant with experience in Structural Earthquake Engineering, particularly in testing and dynamic response simulations of structures. The candidate should have the qualifications needed to join the PhD programs at UAEU as a full-time student.
Duties include experimental studies related to the performance of RC structural systems, numerical modeling and response assessment of structures, and submission of research findings to international journals.
The application package should include a detailed resume, a brief description of previous experience, and contact details of two references.
Minimum Qualification

Applicant must have an earned MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering. For PhD admission, minimum GPA of 3.5 and IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent), or 6.0 at the time of admission to Master.
Preferred Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience and previous publications in Earthquake Engineering and who are willing to join the UAEU PhD program ASAP.
