Role Description

Cranfield Management Development Limited (CMDL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cranfield University.  CMDL largely supports a portfolio of customised and open enrolment executive programmes offered through Cranfield Executive Development (CED). This includes partnering and collaboration with Cranfield’s School of Management Faculty and Administrative departments.

To support this activity we are currently looking to recruit an Assessment and Development Services Officer to join the Learning Innovation team.

Our customers are both external (delegates and their sponsors) and internal (academic staff, associates, and other Executive Development Directors & colleagues). This role will provide efficient and accurate project and programme support for the assessment and development activities within the Learning Innovation team to enable a high quality of this service for our executive development programmes both at Cranfield and globally.

To be successful in this role you will require previous administrative experience at a senior level.  The Assessment and Development Services Officer has extensive contact with external (delegates and sponsors) and internal stakeholders (academic staff, and other service providing departments within the School of Management and University). The post holder should be highly motivated, be able to work independently, and be able to manage a varied and demanding workload.

The role requires excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills with close attention to detail. It would be desirable to have an existing working knowledge of assessment and development tools and methods which are most frequently used in executive education however this is not essential.

For an informal discussion, please contact Kristy McCrindle, Assessment & Development Officer on +44 (0)1234 75 4392 or (E); kristy.mccrindle@cranfield.ac.uk.

At Cranfield, we value Diversity and Inclusion, and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential. We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role.
