The UK Student Recruitment Team, based within the Communications and Recruitment Directorate, is seeking to appoint a full-time Access & Applications Support Project Coordinator. This role will work across a team of student recruitment specialists to coordinate recruitment and widening access projects including recruitment enquiry management, schools engagement and local and national UK partnerships. The Postholder will lead the implementation of workflows for systems and processes that assist in the development of student recruitment activities to support all recruitment pipeline channels with the main objective of increasing applications and enrolments across all levels of study.  

 

Working closely alongside the Directorate, other Directorates and the Faculties, the role will assist in the development of coherent, harmonised and effective support to schools and colleges, contributing to developing initiatives and seeking new opportunities to strengthen the University’s position with Schools and Colleges in London and the South East. And enhancing the ability of prospective students to progress to Higher Education including those from low participation neighbourhoods, disadvantaged backgrounds, students from areas of deprivation, care leavers, mature students, disabled students and students from different ethnic backgrounds


 The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and possess a relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualification with professional experience in stakeholder engagement and project management. The successful role holder will be required to work closely with Faculties to maximise positive exposure for the University of Greenwich. The service is underpinned by the University’s shared values of excellence, determination, inclusivity, ambition and creativity. We encourage the development of staff aspirations and confidence, placing individual responsibility and accountability in decision making. He/she will provide direct support to the Education Support Manager, Student Recruitment Manager and Widening Access Consultant to achieve the University’s student recruitment and Access and Participation Plan targets. 

The post will require a flexible approach to working practices, supporting Open Days and working across all three campus sites as required with occasional travel in the UK including evenings and weekends.
