The Faculty of Education invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Special Education.

Qualifications

An earned doctorate degree in Special Education with solid evidence for teaching/research/service. Preference will be given to the candidates with a sustained record of high quality research in the relevant expertise areas. Priority consideration will be given to those with a strong track record of publications in competitive refereed journals (e.g., SSCI, SCI or A&HCI indexed journals) in the relevant disciplines.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2020.

Remuneration

A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP800,800 (approximately USD98,860) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
