We are seeking an excellent academic to join our staff as a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering. The person appointed will have a proven record of teaching, research and publication, appropriate to career stage. He/she will be expected to make a strong contribution to the teaching programme of the International Engineering College (IEC) in Fuzhou, China. While the bulk of their teaching assignments will be based in the IEC, the successful candidate will also be expected to be present on the Maynooth Campus for approximately half the working year. Teaching duties will cover undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as the supervision of master's and PhD students.

This position is open to applicants of all disciplines within the field of electronic engineering, but we would welcome applicants with expertise in the areas of control systems, system modelling or signal processing. The successful candidate will have a key role in the development, enhancement and delivery of a European pedagogical approach to the delivery of the academic curriculum in the International Engineering College (IEC).

Lecturer (2019) Salary Scale: €53,774 - €84,544 per annum (7 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
