The Faculty Employability Consultant role will work in our award-winning Faculty Employability Team.

You will work with the Faculty of Arts and be responsible for managing the Careers Service's professional employability support there. You will be creative, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Leading on the Service's Employability Partnership Agreements with the Schools in the Faculty, you will interpret and analyse the available data, work with the Faculty Employability Manager and Careers Lead in Schools to determine priorities and use your experience to design and deliver appropriate activities.

You’ll be joining a team that’s passionate about developing and supporting employability in the context of a student’s academic experience and play a vital role in progressing our work.

As line manager to a Faculty Employability Adviser, you will know how to develop others and will have oversight of their work with their Faculty. You will also actively contribute to the team's development and success.

You will be an excellent communicator who will establish and maintain effective working relationships with academics and colleagues in the Faculty to work credibly with them. You will be highly organised with experience of managing your own workload and the different demands that may be placed upon it, whether they be relationship development, delivery of activities to students or other elements of the role.

If you are looking for a varied role as part of a dynamic team that works with faculties to help students get to where they want to be, get in touch today.

The post is available to start from 3rd February 2020. For informal enquiries, please contact Dr Hannah Pearce, Faculty Employability Manager: hannah.pearce@bristol.ac.uk
