Lecturer / Senior Lecturer

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will further the academic achievement and impact of the environmental modelling team by publishing high-impact journal publications, contributing to the impact of the team by engaging in wider networks, industry collaborations (where appropriate) and public / policy engagement, and by attracting sustainable research income for the team/School.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in environmental science, biology, modelling, mathematics, engineering, computer science, social science or related disciplines and will have a track record of high impact publications and of attracting research funding.
The successful candidate will have a track record of publishing in high-impact journals and in attracting research funding and will have / or be willing to develop wider impact from their work. They will be an independent researcher, but one who relishes collaboration in a stimulating, dynamic environment.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 7 or 8 salary scale (£41,526 - £59,135 per annum, pro rata) and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
Any appointment will be made subject to satisfactory references and a probation period.
