Job description

Coventry University are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic health care professional to take up a new post as a mental health coordinator to work in the newly formedmental health and well-being zone. Applicants will need to have be a registered professional qualification preferably experience of working in Mental Healthcrisis or with young people who may be diagnosed with an eating disorder and/orsubstance misuse.

You will be part of a newly formed team and will deliver on a range of activities from within the developing mental health and well-being zone. This will include co-ordination of psychological support for both staff and PGR students and inputting into the range of strategic activities and training to be generated from the zone. Previous experience of offering mental health support and mental health training and developing strategies and policies is desirable.

The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
