An opportunity has arisen within the School of Physical Science and Computing for a highly motivated individual to support Knowledge Exchange projects and to compile information in support of the commercialisation of innovation products. The successful applicant will perform laboratory procedures as part of ongoing innovative research projects in material science, technical procedures such as large-scale chemical synthesis and performance evaluation/optimization of materials. She/he will support the commercialisation of the innovative products, including market research and contacting potential clients.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills and experience in working in a chemical laboratory. You must hold a degree or be working towards a degree in an appropriate field of science e.g. chemistry, materials science.
