We are looking to recruit an Assistant Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The post is open to those new to childcare, but you must have a commitment to learn the best approaches, and a willingness to pursue a qualification (if not already held) in the field of early years.

You will be passionate about childcare and show the ability to communicate and interact with young children and their carers. The successful candidates will need the ability to read and write in English to complete reports, a strong dedication to team work, and focus on the need of customers. This post is a full time permanent appointment with a starting salary of £22,786 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan (after 6 months of employment).

Candidates will be subject to enhanced clearance by the Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS), and medical clearance by the University’s Occupational Health Service prior to undertaking the post.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
