Position overview

Opportunities exist for a motivated individual with an interest in research with good communication and project management skills. The ANU Research Contracts Office is seeking to fill a Senior Research Contracts Officer position. Experience in research or contract review and negotiation is well regarded but not essential. The Office will provide contracts training. The ANU is a research intensive university with academics committed to solving problems through big picture and applied research.

The Contracts Office is part of the Research Services Division within the Research and Innovation Portfolio and provides a focus for expertise in the review and negotiation of research and research related contracts and supports the Strategic goals of the ANU.

The Senior Contracts Officer will work closely with College Research Offices across the University. The Contracts Officer will be responsible for liaising with the Legal Office and other Research and Innovation Portfolio areas to ensure the projects are well planned and the proposed contractual terms and conditions are acceptable, appropriate and compliant with University policies and requirements.
