Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 499083), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with at least 3 years’ relevant post-doctoral experience in the field of endocrinology; evidence of high-quality research as indicated by publication record; and experience in human studies, animal experiments, multi-omics analysis and cohort studies.  Preference will be given to those who have previously been awarded external funding in the capacity of Principal Investigator.  The appointee is expected to participate in the research area of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, with a strategic focus on multi-omics integration.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
