Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the CSIR Extramural Research Project (No.22(0803)/19/EMR-II) Funded by CSIR, India.

Project Title:

ENHANCEMENT OF BIOCOMPATIBILITY AND WEAR RESISTANCE OF ORTHOPEDIC BETA TITANIUM ALLOY Ti-35Nb-7Zr-5Ta BY NANOSURFACE MODIFICATION

Qualification:

M.Tech in Mechanical /Metallurgy Engineering, M.Sc in Physics/Biology with valid NET/GATE score

Desirable:

• Candidates having sound knowledge in surface modification
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Expertise in advanced surface characterisation techniques

Stipend: Rs.31,000/- per month
Sponsoring Agency: CSIR, Government of India
Duration: 3 Years
