This post will be based at our CU London- Dagenham Campus

Attraction and conversion of students within Higher Education is an increasingly competitive and challenging environment. CU Recruitment and Admissions Ltd (CURA) launched in April 2019 transforms the traditional approach to student recruitment.

A new regionally-based network of student recruiters, widening participation specialists are supported by teams of conversion professionals,admissions specialists and CRM and events team. All leading the implementation of a new approach to student engagement and a customer centric culture and workforce, robust sales processes, and an agile strategy driven by data.

We are currently recruiting to a number of posts and are looking for highly motivated professionals to join us as we take forward a new approach to the recruitment and conversion of UK students, developing new approaches to meet the challenges ahead.

Role Purpose:

Working closely with a regional recruitment team, be responsible for leading the WP outreach programme and defined activities within region as identified by the WP Manager and Regional Recruitment Manager.

Take day today responsibility for the management of a team of WP student ambassadors, to deliver a suite of attainment raising activities with under- represented groups by working with a number of external organisations such as  schools, colleges, community groups and council.

Person Specification:

  • Proven track record in delivering / WP / student recruitment / outreach activities in an educational environment
  • Demonstrable experience of effective self-management and working to deadlines
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities
  • Enthusiasm and a positive approach to WP activity
  • Appreciation of the national WP agenda
