Job description

Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Management to contribute to the delivery of Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.  We would particularly welcome applicants with expertise in Project and operations management and strategic management. The post holder will be expected to liaise with the course leader and the business community to promote the programme and support students on the programme.

The successful applicant will have teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level within a higher education environment. A relevant degree and higher degree is essential and ideally the post holder will hold a teaching certificate, PhD or considerable equivalent professional experience.

The successful applicant must have a flexible approach to learning and teaching, and the ability to engage with work based learning using technology with a willingness to work effectively with employers. An ability to supervise student dissertations and undertake research and/or knowledge transfer is essential.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
