We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Senior Operations Officer (Research) to join the professional services team at the School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences at King’s College London.

The School is based at the Guy’s Campus at London Bridge and comprises around 300 staff and post-graduate research students across three London sites. This post is key to realising the potential of the School and will work closely with the rest of the School Operations team as well as with colleagues across the Faculty and University to ensure that Research processes operate in a smooth and effective manner.

The post holder will act as the primary point of contact for research-related activity and grant application processes within the School and liaising with the Research Awards team. With desirable experience using Worktribe, the successful candidate will be able to work autonomously, using their own initiative to manage multiple tasks and prioritising their workload to meet the needs of the School. They will be self-motivated, proactive and organised, with the ability to manage a mix of operational and project work. With strong communications skills, they will be confident and concise in advising and supporting managers and employees on a diverse range of operational Research issues.

This post represents an excellent opportunity to become familiarised with the operations of a high-performing higher education institution.
