About the role

Admissions is on the frontline of our business. The team performs a key role in recruiting high-quality students from around the globe to our international colleges throughout the UK and to our university partners in the US. Our Advisors are responsible for the initial assessment of a student’s suitability, counselling students and agents through the enrolment process and keeping a close eye on the ambitious recruitment targets which we commit to meet each year in our colleges. Our team have a wealth of knowledge about our programmes, attend to every detail of an application and apply their critical judgement to make the right decisions about who to admit to our programmes. This is all done at speed and whilst ensuring that students, agents and parents are kept in the loop and receive first-rate customer care.

As the Director of Admissions and Pre-arrival (UK Pathways) and a member of the Senior Management Team, your focus will be on driving improvements to the Admissions operation. Where are the bottlenecks? How can we remove them? Where in the cycle are we losing applicants? What can we do to reduce this attrition? How can our CRM system help? What can we automate so our staff spend more time providing value to customers? How do we ensure we are meeting our partner university requirements and our quality standards? How can we support our admissions staff better? What can be tweaked to improve efficiency? Where could staff benefit from more in-depth training and who is best placed to deliver this? How are we performing against our SLAs and where can we improve? What are our competitors doing? How do we ensure that we maintain our position as the industry-leading admissions team?
