Position Summary:

The Department of Forensic Sciences at Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, O. P. Jindal Global University invites applications for faculty positions at the Research Associate/Assistant Professor ranks for Spring 2020 (willing to join us in December 2019/ January 2020)

A minimum of a Master’s degree in forensic science or related field is required. Teaching and research experience in pre-eminent institutions of higher education preferable.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience of teaching forensic science either at an introductory level or of supporting the teaching of a senior lecturer in roles of similar requirement. An interest in developing and applying recent research in forensic education in law and criminology will be an advantage. Applicants with interest in wildlife forensics, green criminology and cyber security studies would be particularly welcome.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment to contribute to research-led teaching, both within a specialist research area as well as at the intersection of forensics, law, psychology and criminology.

The applicant will work closely with the various schools of JGU, especially the Jindal Global Law School and the upcoming Environmental Studies school, to further enhance research, teaching and educational training activities. This will include designing, developing and delivering high quality teaching provision, undertaking research to produce quality academic outputs and participating in external activity to generate income and promote the subject area.
