Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking individuals who have a team approach to join our existing team. The post holder(s) will provide a high quality cleaning service to the UCLan estate and its users; cleaning both internally and externally as required using appropriate equipment.  The post holder will be required to work in any building and any area of the University.

Applicants must have experience of working in a cleaning operation in a customer orientated environment, have health and safety awareness, be able to communicate effectively and have attention to detail in cleaning tasks.

Hours of work are 36.25 hours per week, on a flexible shift pattern and will vary between 06:00 and 21:00 hrs, 5 days over 7.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. The interview will involve a practical demonstration of your skills and suitability for the post.  This position is based in Preston.
