The role

You will relish the opportunity to work as a member of a team that is undertaking research funded by a grant from DST Group - Maritime Division. You will contribute to providing high quality research in areas of submarine dynamics and control. You will prepare and submit reports, prepare and publish articles, attend conferences and seminars and keep abreast of international research trends and outcomes.

To secure this opportunity you must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain defence security clearance. You will have academic and/or industry experiences in fluid mechanics, simulation and control for engineering applications along with an ability to undertake research successfully within a team environment.

Essential is a PhD degree in one of the following discipline areas: Mathematics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or other related disciplines with a control theory background.
