Applications are invited for the position of Graduate Project Engineer within an ERDF funded project, Digital Integrated Manufacturing Execution (DigitME2). With a focus on machine monitoring, IIoT and data analytics, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on a wide range of manufacturing related feasibility studies.
Working closely with Lancashire based manufacturing SMEs, the role will enhance your industrial experience whilst offering an opportunity to become involved in research and development within UCLan’s Industry 4.0 development facility located at the Advanced Digital Manufacturing Technology Research Centre.
The successful applicants will have a good honours degree in a related engineering or computing discipline as well as recent relevant industrial experience in data processing/analytics.
Software programming in Python, C# or Java and an ability to produce formal technical reports are core requirements for this position. The successful applicants will also possess good communication and presentation skills and have an ability to work effectively in a team.
Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Burnley and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
