RGU is now seeking an outstanding new Principal and Vice-Chancellor to lead the university through its next stage of development. Reporting directly to the Board, the role holder is the Chief Academic and Executive Officer of the university, with overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the institution, and for its strategic direction. The successful candidate will be an empowering leader and an inspiring and engaging communicator, deeply committed to the success of staff, students, and the wider communities that the university serves and capable of representing the university externally. They will have a strong academic profile and significant experience of working in a complex organisation at a senior level and bringing an understanding of the national and global context for higher education.

Candidates who are longlisted by the Committee will be invited to first round interview with Perrett Laver in December.
