Two vacancies have arisen (one open-ended, one 12 month fixed term) for full-time Procurement Managers to support the Estates Contracting Group at the University of Bristol. Reporting to the Head of Estates Contracting, the successful applicants will be responsible for the procurement and contract management of a range of commodities to support the Campus Division (Estates, Residences and Hospitality Services) – such as Maintenance and Compliance Services, Minor Works, Waste Management, Catering Services and Print.
The successful applicants should be able to demonstrate an excellent all-round capability in procurement with a background in Estates, Facilities Management or similar being highly desirable.
Procurement at University of Bristol is mainly managed by two teams: Procurement and Estates Contracting Group. Following a recent change of structure, both teams now report to the Director of Procurement and there is an ongoing merger process. Therefore any appointee should have the skills to cover any commodity area in either team.
