We are looking for an inventive and tenacious Research Marketing Manager to join our central Marketing Team.

You will be driven, ambitious and creative, focused on a strategic but pragmatic approach to showcase our renowned reputation as a Russell Group university. Familiar with a fast-paced, demanding marketing environment, you will develop, manage and implement innovative and inspiring annual marketing plans to promote our research and impact to key audiences in the UK and worldwide.

We need a natural influencer, used to achieving consensus from multiple stakeholders and requests in a large organisation. You'll be experienced in the full marketing mix, possess robust project management skills and demonstrate expertise in developing and managing content across existing and newly identified channels. Both a creative thinker and adept at analysing data to draw insight from multiple sources, you'll be looking for innovative and audience-focused ways of delivering your plans.

Working closely with the Deputy Director of Marketing, Faculty Marketing teams and other members of External Relations, including senior management, academic and professional services staff, you will identify and nurture key relationships across the organisation. Knowledge of research marketing in an international environment would be desirable.

In return, we offer a great package, an exciting and thought-provoking working environment with inspiring colleagues, both our staff and students.

Please see the job description for specific details about the role.

For more information please contact Rachel Everington, Deputy Director Marketing, rachel.everington@bristol.ac.uk

You will need to supply a supporting statement with your application, detailing your suitability and ambition for this role.

Interviews are likely to take place during the week commencing 11 November 2019.

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
