ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Sloan School of Management-Office of Executive Education, to provide complex and varied support primarily to the program director group and coordinate with the director of finance, administration, and strategic initiatives to provide general administrative support within the office. Will provide support to the program directors in different aspects of the business, including business development-researching companies and possible custom business leads, formatting proposals to potential clients, data entry, and uploading changes to program materials; and be responsible for scheduling meetings and serving as liaison for the program directors with varied constituents for a select list of calendar management issues, planning meetings with faculty and clients, and providing general support. Will also support the director of finance, administration, and strategic initiatives with the management of office infrastructure, including liaising with the building managers and MIT Facilities’ staff on behalf of the office, assisting with on-boarding of new staff, keeping general office resources updated, organizing staff lunches, and managing inventory of supplies.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a minimum of three years’ business experience in a fast-paced office environment; attention to detail; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; ability to prioritize, manage/track multiple priorities, multitask, work to quick deadlines, proactively determine needed actions, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities; collaborative approach to the work; ability to use discretion with confidential information; proficiency with MS Office programs; and ability to use and proactively learn new software and systems, including online collaboration and CRM tools. A bachelor’s degree and MIT experience are preferred. Job #18097-5
