Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 498841), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. They should have strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and frontline social work and/or research experience in drug rehabilitation, substance abuse, or related rehabilitation services.  Knowledge of and experience in using mixed research methods are highly preferred.  Those with lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Assistant. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities of a drug treatment and rehabilitation evaluation programme; oversee data collection and analysis; draft reports; and perform other duties as assigned. He/She will have ample opportunities to work with Social Workers, professionals in drug treatment and rehabilitation, and other stakeholders in the local community.
