Base Salary Range: NZ $75,456-$90,157 per annum
Fixed-term (31 months), full-time position

The new appointee will have the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant Institute of Criminology at Victoria, and to other academic, practitioner and policy-making communities in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
The Institute of Criminology aims to appoint a dynamic early-career scholar who complements the current staff's expertise and who can contribute to our excellent teaching and research profile. The appointee will co-ordinate and teach on our 100-level course 'Introduction to Criminology', and also develop and teach a 300-level course within their specialist area.
The successful candidate will hold a strong postgraduate qualification (preferably PhD) in Criminology or a closely related field. They will have an emerging research profile, and a strong commitment to Criminological research and teaching. We particularly welcome Māori and Pasifika applicants.
