We are seeking to fill the position of Global Mobility Co-Ordinator. This post is responsible for the promotion and management of inbound and outbound mobility programmes, which support both our staff and students to study, work and travel overseas. These programmes include our Study Abroad Programme (incoming) as well as Erasmus+, International Exchanges and Summers Schools. The post is responsible for implementing and developing (in collaboration with the wider university) a marketing and recruitment strategy for the above programmes. A significant part of the of the role is the administration activities involved with the programmes. The post also includes some international travel representing the university at recruitment fairs and other overseas events.

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic candidate with an interest in international education. An ability to work independently is essential. Applicants should have experience of working in the Higher Education international arena, including work-related international travel and dealing with international enquirers/students, a good knowledge of global mobility and the Erasmus+ programme. They should be able to demonstrate good communication skills, particularly cultural awareness in dealing with international enquirers and have an in-depth knowledge of issues that affect international students. They should work well within a team environment, an important element of that being flexibility in the tasks undertaken which will be determined by the needs of the section to meet targets which vary throughout the year and have good computerised record keeping and IT skills.

The position is based in our Avery Hill Campus, but there is a requirement to visit the Greenwich campus on a regular basis.Candidates should also be able to travel overseas, to promote the university as required.

The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment and a short presentation.
