Job description

Coventry University is recognised as one of the leading UK study destinations for international students.  We've put ourselves on the global map by recruiting students from 87% of the world in just 10 years through our International Office. Continuing success means that we must expand our Conversion Team to meet current demand and hit ambitious recruitment targets.

We are looking for a talented International Conversion Officer who will:

  • Showa track-record of incredible customer service skills alongside a genuine hunger to smash individual, regional and departmental sales targets.
  • Guide prospective students through a proven customer journey, maintaining velocity, reducing drop-offs, and focusing on improving conversion rates from first enquiry right through to final enrolment.
  • Relish in the chance to engage culturally diverse students by phone, email, text messaging and live chat, responding to inbound enquires and actively chasing outbound leads.

The International Office takes responsibility for recruiting students to study for a Coventry University degree. We take pride in understanding the needs of different students from different cultures, both in the EU and outside the EU. We encourage undergraduate and postgraduate students to apply directly to us, or through our global network of sales agents.

We show a young and vibrant worldwide audience how a degree from Coventry will change their lives. Because of this, we're recognised as 2nd in the UK for Teaching Excellence. And 97% of our students are employed or in further study six months after they graduate.

As results-driven organisation marketing courses to global customers, we adopt working patterns that help us 'make the sale'. So weekend work on a rota is expected, as is some flexibility around start and finish times to maximise sales opportunities from different time zones around the world. Show us how you'll hit the ground running from day one by applying at the link below.
