Lecturer in Electric Energy Engineering Grade 8

Supported by the University's ambitious Strategy 2026 and recent investment in research infrastructure including a new departmental building due for completion in 2022, the Department plans to grow its capabilities in the energy and power areas to meet the increasing research challenges and better serve the needs from industry.
We are seeking to recruit a Lectruer in Electric Energy Engineering. Applicants for this post should have a PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a relevant Science or Engineering discipline with excellent track record or demonstrable potential for innovative research and teaching, preferably in, but not limited to, one of the areas: power network or integrated energy system including energy storage, high voltage engineering, and power electronics. In addition to establishing and maintaining a world-class research profile, you will also be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate teaching programs related to electrical power engineering within the department.
