Location: Avery Hill campus
Salary: £27,511 to £32,817 plus £4800 London weighting per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term - Maternity cover until 30/10/2020

The Management Accounts Assistant role supports the budgetary and financial management of the University. Working within a team of 7, you will support and assist the Management Accounts team with routine processes such as preparing and uploading journals, carrying out reconciliations, assisting with preparation for audits and statutory returns, and checking and circulating reports. You will also have a role to play in providing business partnering support to one or more of the University’s front line services.
You will be AAT or equivalent qualified or CCAB or equivalent part qualified with proven financial and\or management accounts experience. You must be analytical with good oral and written communication skills and a customer oriented approach. Previous experience of higher education finance is not essential, but could be an advantage.
