Position Description

The Department of Government seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in Group Politics, with particular interests in political conflict, gender, race or ethnicity, and migration. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2020. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate or terminal degree in Political Science or related disciplines required by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications

Demonstrated excellence in teaching is desired.

  4. Research statement

  6. Names and contact information of 3-5 referees, who will be asked by a system-generated email to upload a letter of recommendation once the candidate’s application has been submitted. Three letters of recommendation are required, and the application is considered complete only when at least three letters have been received.
