Full-time: 35 hours per week

The role
This is a key role in the University’s high-performing Marketing & Student Recruitment Department. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of core digital marketing and UX projects in line with our corporate brand and support schools and departments across UWS with their digital marketing, social media and engagement ambitions as required.

The post holder will assist with and develop digital activities for corporate and recruitment campaigns to support an innovative digital first approach to marketing.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of content management systems and have created written content for web, email and digital marketing.  You will have a strong understanding of UX design concepts, social media marketing, email marketing, SEO and Digital advertising platforms. 

You will have excellent IT skills, a working knowledge of HTML, a good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or other graphics software.  You should have knowledge of Web Analytics Tools (eg Google Analytics) and Paid for Search (eg Adwords) Email Marketing platform (such as Dotmailer).  A good understanding of traditional and digital marketing, UX and website development concepts is essential.

The successful candidate will have outstanding planning and organisational skill, work well in a team as well as independently, have great attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly to shifting deadlines and priorities.  A relevant degree or equivalent is required.

The successful candidate should be a creative problem solver, with a passion for emerging digital technology.
