University of Bristol Students’ Union role

We’re looking for someone with the passion to support the financial accounting provision in Bristol SU to ensure maximum impact for students now and in the future.

You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency within our busy and varied finance function. No day is the same in our team and we need someone who can get involved at all levels.

You will be responsible for helping to ensure that the activities and strategies within finance contribute towards the vision, mission, values and strategic direction of the organisation and to deliver against Bristol SU’s charitable objects.

Hours: Full time. We will consider requests for part time or flexible working.

Contract: Permanent subject to probation

Closing date: 9am on Tuesday 8th October 2019

  • You’ll be a part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with significant experience of working in high pressure environments
  • You’ll be confident at communicating with a variety of stakeholders
  • You know how to take full ownership of areas and be relied on to produce accurate financial reporting
  • You’ll be quick at learning new systems and have a good level of excel knowledge
