Permanent, Full time

The role will be assisting the Hub Assistant Catering Manager and Team Leader with the day to day supervision of both term time and vacation business. During the terms, your role will be to support the catering team with the running of a large food hall style operation, with the role during the vacation focusing on large conferences, language schools and events. This role will involve working evenings and weekends.

This is very much a ‘hands on’ position to support the operational efficiency of the service, which also includes supervising and encouraging your team to exceed expectations.

To be successful in this post you will need:

  • Ability to organise and supervise a team of staff
  • Understanding and knowledge of stock control
  • Cash handling
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail

You will be expected to lead your team in driving the business forward and delivering the best to our customers, ensuring the highest quality service and standards. Willingness to attend and run training sessions and meetings is also required.

The ideal candidate must be motivated by people, with a love for training and supporting other members of the team. Be able to stay highly focused during intense service periods whilst maintaining attention to detail. 

Candidates will need great communication skills and the ability to work using their initiative, making a contribution as part of a team.  Previous experience of leadership is required but we will take into account your passion for the industry.

This position is available immediately.  

The post is available in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
