About the team

As part of UWA’s Human Resource function, you will lead the Organisational Development (OD) team. With the recently announced People and Culture Strategy this team finds itself in sharp focus for the University, with a key strategic priority to drive and reward a high-performing workforce capable of delivering real change. We will do this by creating a high-performance culture and by energetically growing UWA’s leadership capacity by identifying and developing the most exciting future leaders. About the opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work on complex and exciting initiatives in support of UWA’s recently announced People and Culture strategy. You lead and motivate your team of two OD specialists, and will partner closely with leaders, HR Business Partner’s and other Centre’s of Excellence to facilitate and implement various engagement and performance management initiatives that will deliver high performance, exceptional service and an engaged and enabled workforce which drives business delivery. You will also facilitate the effective delivery of workshops, programs and initiatives for influencing, managing and leading people, culture and leadership; establishing yourself as the recognised specialist on culture and leadership strategies and frameworks.

About you

You will be a tertiary graduate and have significant experience in delivering contemporary OD frameworks, toolkits, initiatives and programs around change, learning, talent, leadership and engagement developed from your recent experience in similar roles within large matrix organisations with transformational workplaces. You will also have a proven ability to lead project teams, motivate and influence others to achieve goals and provide high quality service and demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills with an ability to drive results in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
