Brief Description            

To provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University. 

Ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.

Detailed Description            

• Build and test a lab-scale Rotating Packed Bed (RPB) used for CO2 removal from gas streams using an Amine
• Work closely with a PDF in generating the necessary data needed to build a CFD model for the lab scale RPB   
• Help the project leader supervise graduate students working for the project
• Report weekly both verbally and in written to the project leader on the tasks progress

Job Requirements            

• Masters in  Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• First-Hand Experience in building rotating systems handling multiphase flow 
• Experience in Machine Learning techniques is desirable 
• Good publications record in the field of experimental fluid mechanics  
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
