Job Details
Project Officer in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Immunology
A Project Officer position is available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Su I-Hsin of the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University.
The candidate has to be well-trained in Immunology and biochemistry with advanced background knowledge. The candidate should have genuine interest in basic research of immunology and will work on a newly established conditional knockout mouse model to identify functional significance of our target protein in various immune cells. In parallel, the biochemical feature of this novel protein will be characterized.
Job Requirements:
Candidate should:
- Possess a bachelor degree in Biological Sciences, Medicine or related disciplines.
- have basic knowledge of immunology and cell biology
- Perform molecular cloning, tissue culture, biochemistry analyses using primary cells and animal experimentation.
- able to use open source bioinformatics tools
- have excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- be highly motivated
- be committed and able to work flexible hours
- have good common sense with excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
