The post holder is a member of the School’s professional services team, providing high quality general administrative support to the Cancer Prevention Group (CPG) led by Professor Peter Sasieni. The post will report to the Operations Officer.
The main responsibilities of the post are to support the Operations Officer in providing smooth and efficient day to day operational and administrative support to staff across the CPG, working closely with the CPG core team to provide local support e.g. for research grant applications, post-award support, local recruitment campaigns .
The successful candidate will have proven IT and advanced administrative skills and they will also have experience in data analysis and financial management e.g. invoicing, purchase orders. They will be able to efficiently organise, manage and prioritise workloads, and work under pressure, and show initiative and problem solving skills. They will have good communication skills at all levels, and maintain confidentiality.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview, and assessment.
