There are several exciting opportunities to join the Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) lab team at the University of Bristol. These posts will support our world class researchers and students to develop and undertake tests for the characterisation of composite materials and structures. Measurement and recording of high quality experimental data is a crucial part of understanding the material behaviour, from the manufacturing processes used through to testing composite structures. Through all these processes meticulous attention to detail is required. 

The Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) has recently attained institute status at the University of Bristol in recognition of its internationally leading research profile. It is one of the UK’s foremost academic teams in the area of composite materials, based in outstanding laboratories and office space. Within ACCIS there are over 200 people working on composites, with twenty five members of academic staff and current research funding in excess of £18M.
