An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of the pre and post registration Paramedic Practice education within the School of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Central Lancashire, Preston.
This post would be ideal for a qualified Paramedic with a clear understanding of Pre-Hospital Care education at both pre and post qualifying level. The applicant must be Health Care Professions Council registered and will ideally be qualified to post-graduate level. They will have recent clinical experience as a Registered Paramedic.
Educated to degree level in Paramedic Practice or a health related subject and have a teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake one upon appointment. The successful candidate will have a sound understanding and knowledge of Paramedic education and practice within the context of the UK. Teaching experience in clinical practice or higher education environment is essential as are good planning and organisation skills.
The applicant must be committed to student success and experience and be able to show that they can effectively support learning and teaching in both the classroom and practice setting. The applicant will need to be able to work as a team member, as well as be self-reliant. The applicant must have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards.
