ITS (Innovation and Technology Services) is the University's IT directorate, responsible for the maintenance and onward development of IT Services that support the Universities business needs and the development and design of innovative new services in support of the University's Digital Strategy.

Role Overview

This is a leadership role, reporting into the Chief Information Officer, and is accountable for developing and delivering business and IT strategy. The role will lead on the creation of the University’s strategic enterprise architecture approach and take responsibility for developing specific elements of the University’s enterprise, business and technology architecture. The role will drive change management practices and will work closely with and influence key stakeholders across the University and as part of high profile and strategically critical projects.

The role will oversee the management of the Information Security function, giving guidance and developing staff. The role is responsible for defining and establishing security processes and policies for the University.

An initial shortlisting exercise will take place and candidates may then be progressed to a selection event which will comprise of a formal panel interview, a presentation and meetings with team members.
