About the position
Applicants need to engage in academic teambuilding, teaching and research, have high research capabilities, can lead teams to obtain significant projects, and publish articles in high-level domestic and international journals.
Doctor’s degree, professor
The appointee’s background should relate to communication, advertising and other related majors. They should also be mature, organized, attentive to detail and most importantly have a passion for teaching. The appointee is supposed to have presided national-level scientific research projects or have national-key-projects and other major projects; they should have a strong academic accumulation and have a certain influence in the field of communication no matter domestically nor internationally. The appointee should have published papers on relevant research fields every year: for example, CSSCI 3-4 papers, or 1-2 SSCI papers, who also need to meet the conditions for the introduction of the “151” talent project of Shanghai Normal University. Overseas study background and being able to teach in a foreign language are preferred.
About the College
The College of Film-Television and Communication has the following undergraduate majors: Acting, Broadcasting and Hosting Art, Literature of Drama, film and Television, Broadcasting and Television Playwright-director, Animation, Advertising, Photography, Radio and Television Studies, Editing and Publishing, Culture Industry Management; and also has the following graduate majors: Studies for Drama, Film and Television, Art, News Journalism and Communication, Advertising. There’re 127 staff in the college, including 13 professors, 43 Associate professors.
