We have an exciting position in Research Management at Kings College London.

The role holder will be responsible for the provision of a high-quality research administration service to facilitate the achievement of the Professional Services Directorate and to comply with the research objectives of the Faculties, Institutes and relevant Divisions/Departments they are handling.

The role holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and general supervision of consultancy projects, providing monthly reports on Working Progress/Detailed project monitoring to the Head of Post-Award, and the College Chief Accountant in relation to the financial position of the research activity within their area.

The role holder will report directly to the Head of Post-Award. The scope of work the role holder will manage will potentially expand beyond consultancy projects and might in the long run also include supervision of a small team of staff, delegating work, setting targets and objectives for the staff and reviewing work plans/working patterns to meet monthly deadlines agreed with the Head of Post-Award. 
 

The post holder will be largely self-starting and responsible for their own work schedule in the context of the requirements of internal and external customers. 

You will be the key contact for expert guidance on all aspects of the post award financial management for your portfolio, including providing reports or working progress updates and project monitoring as required and comply with the research objectives of the Research and Information Management Directorate.

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate strong communication and accounting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The interview process will consist of an Interview and Test.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.
