About the Job

Within the University of South Australia the Online Lecturer role holds the title of Online Course Facilitator.

The position will work with academic staff within the School of Health Science and the School of Nursing to support the development and delivery of curriculum for new online programs. 

Exciting opportunities include contributing to the design, development and teaching of engaging course curricula and materials for the new programs, implementing teaching approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes, and contributing to the recruitment and development of teaching staff within UniSA Online.

Critical to the success of the role will be establishing strong partnerships with stakeholders across the University to ensure that UniSA Online identifies and responds to strategic opportunities, and effectively leading and mentoring academic staff within the teaching team.

Skills and Experience

To be successful you will have a doctoral qualification or To be successful you will have a doctoral qualification or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline along with recent teaching experience and discipline expertise in Public Health and/or Community Health, specifically in the areas of population health, health promotion, and/or ageing and disability. Your experience in using a range of teaching methodologies and education technologies that support online learning and course administration is essential together with expertise in the design and preparation of online teaching resources.
