We are seeking to appoint two research associates willing to carry out an interesting and challenging project of Structural Biology in UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) at King’s College. The UK DRI is embedded within the Department of Basic and Clinical Neuroscience. Funded by the Medical Research Council, Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK DRI is a national consortium focused on cutting-edge dementia research. The post-holder will be involved in developing a project in Structural Biology of neurodegeneration research as part of a wider network of centres.  The role will involve an integrated biological approach based on molecular biology, protein biochemistry, enzymology, spectroscopic, synthetic biology, crystallography and/or NMR and/or cryo-EM methodologies with the aim of understanding the role of specific target proteins in neurodegeneration and dementia.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
